How to build a circuit

There are two workbenches — switch between them with the ⚡ Electrical / ⚙️ Mechanical tabs at the top. Everything below applies to both.

1. Add parts. Drag anything from the left panel onto the canvas, or click it to drop it in. Use the search box once the parts list gets long.
2. Wire them up. Click and drag from one colored dot (terminal) to another to connect them — terminals glow while you're dragging to show where you can drop.
3. Try it live. No "Run" button — flip a switch, start the engine, press the brake — if there's a complete path, it powers up instantly: bulbs glow, wheels spin, gauges move.
4. Electrical: every "Ground" part and the battery's − terminal are automatically one shared point, like a real car's chassis. Fuses blow on overload. A diode only lets current flow anode → cathode. A push button only powers things while held; an ignition switch cycles OFF/ACC/ON/START.
5. Mechanical: power flows from a running Engine through a gear other than Neutral/Park to the wheels — the Clutch Pedal is engaged by default (like a real one) and only disconnects power while you're holding it down, e.g. to shift safely. Braking is a separate network — press the Brake Pedal (or engage the Parking Brake) and it overrides wheel spin, even mid-drive. Drag the Engine's throttle and watch every gauge, pump, and spinning part react live — push it near redline and things start glowing red.
6. Click anything to edit it. The first click just selects a part and opens the inspector — even a running one — so looking at something never accidentally shuts it off; click it again (now that it's selected) to flip its switch/cycle/toggle. Rename it, change ratings, rotate it (or press R), or delete it there too.
7. Pan and zoom the canvas like Tinkercad — click and drag any empty patch of grid to pan around, and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in/out right where the cursor is.
8. Made a mistake? Undo/Redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y) — each tab keeps its own history.
